Glebe Primary School

On Tuesday 19th November, year 6 visited the British Museum in central London. The purpose of the trip was to support our learning for our topic of Ancient Greece. Although there were lots of fantastic things to see and learn about, we focused on those galleries relevant to our topic and saw fine examples of Ancient Greek pottery, coins and stonework, including the Parthenon Friezes. Our time in the museum was cut somewhat short by a fire alarm, but all the pupils behaved very well and were incredibly sensible. Really well done Year 6!
